When to use On-the-Spot

Enable On-the-Spot when services are performed at customer locations. This mode applies location rules and travel pricing so bookings remain profitable and operationally realistic.

Setup sequence

1. Enable mobile service mode

Activate On-the-Spot in operations settings for each relevant service category.

2. Define service radius

Set the maximum travel distance from your base location. Bookings outside this area should be blocked automatically.

3. Configure travel fee logic

• Flat travel fee for nearby zones
• Tiered fee by distance bands
• Optional minimum order amount for travel

4. Add excluded zones

Mark locations you do not serve because of transport, legal, or safety limitations.

Operational checks before going live

• Test a booking inside radius and confirm fee values.
• Test a booking outside radius and confirm rejection behavior.
• Verify staff schedules include travel buffers.
• Validate client confirmation message includes travel details.
